One of the most important parts of a bearing is the engineering support that stands behind it.  BRENCO is committed to supporting our bearing long after it leaves the factory floor.  BRENCO's service engineers are out in the field every day to work closely with railroads and car owners on ways to improve the performance of the existing bearing fleet.  Through the years, BRENCO Service Engineers have worked with customers to develop practical new ways to improve bearing retention, enhance grease performance, and develop wayside sound detectors.  Many of our suggested improvements have led directly to changes in AAR rules and recommendations, as a service we offer a link to the AAR Circular Letters involving Wheels, Axles and Bearings.  For those new to the industry we have also provided a basic overview of the freight car roller bearing.
